Personal History		Sylvia's family was one that would tend to shy away from living near or interacting with the local cities and or technology. Her parents were always ones to focus and push her towards a farm life relying on what came from the work of her own two hands and not the words of a replicator. The love of working with her hands on just about anything and the lack of technology lead to her decision to enter Starfleet Academy and later the ACT program against the wishes and desires of her parents. She was never one that would genuinely stand out; but, in her own right she could and would hold her own against those that were at the head of her classes. Many instructors always would look at her and her performances advising, there is more to be seen here if you would apply yourself more. This attitude has followed her through her life from post to post; only getting promotions when her mind was made up that this is what she wanted and applying herself; but, once the goal was obtained the level stayed the same and never increased. Having small town morals and a strong sense of right and wrong has lead her to be pinned in morale debates and heated discussions; but, her sense of exploration and wanting to learn drives and draws her to friends and others alike.
